Portulaca oleracea
Systematics
Taxonomy of Portulaca is still very controversial: micro-species vs. one polymorphic taxon (see, e. g., El-Bakatoushi & al. 2013 and Walter & al. 2015 and their criticism of previous results). We follow the classical concept of one polymorphic species, as putative diagnostic characters proved not to be reliable.
