Elatine macropoda
Systematics
For a few years now, a taxon that has received little attention for a long time has been classified as a species: E. gussonei. First records have also been published for Cyprus (divisions 1 and 8; Takácz & al. 2017, and pers. comm. Á. Lovas-Kiss). However, it is still unclear whether they could also be hybrids with E. macropoda. In general, there are currently lively debates about the taxonomy of the group (Sramkó & al. 2023). It is advisable to wait for further studies.
