The infraspecific taxa of divaricatum are not fully clarified. Locally, (probable) hybrids can be found: cyprium/micropodioides and karpasiticum/micropodioides. Rarely, single individuals or even populations of micropodioides develop elongated inflorescences by the end of the flowering season.
